It's been a fairly bleak year for the Australian sporting teams I support. I can only look forward to next year.
Wallabies: Last in 3 nations
Collingwood: 2nd last
Bulldogs: 12th

What I am enjoying is seeing how the Australian cricketers are reacting to losing. They are all of a sudden bigger whingers then John Bracewell!! To hear Dizzy complain because the crowd is saying mean things is ridiculous for someone who is meant to be a professional. As for Ponting having a cry about sub fielders, he can hardly complain that others are not playing within the spirit of the game when it is him and Katich that are being fined for acting outside the spirit of the game. Australia are used to using the media when they are winning and good on them. But They are yet to learn that trying to use the media when you are losing will not work. They may well get up for this last one, but given how the essex batsman destroyed them it will be a challenge
